1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account or using Markei, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you’re using Markei on behalf of a business, you’re confirming you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. What Markei does

Markei connects to your Shopify store, studies trends in your region and product category, and generates posts — copy, layout, and imagery — for you to review. Posts are sent to you for approval over WhatsApp or Telegram before anything is published to your connected social channels.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials and connected accounts (Shopify, WhatsApp, Telegram, and any social platforms you link) secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your store data and content

You keep ownership of your product catalog, brand assets, and store data. By connecting your store, you grant Markei a license to read that data solely to generate and schedule posts on your behalf.

Posts generated for your store are yours to use once approved. We may use anonymized, aggregated performance data to improve trend detection across the platform.

5. Approvals and publishing

Nothing is published to your social accounts without your explicit approval — a tap to approve, a reply to edit, or a skip — sent through WhatsApp or Telegram. You’re responsible for reviewing content before approving it.

6. Billing and free trial

New stores get a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan sized to your store’s catalog and posting volume. We’ll always confirm pricing with you before any charge — no surprise auto-charges.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Markei to generate misleading, infringing, or unlawful content, to interfere with the service’s operation, or to attempt to access other stores’ data.

8. Termination

You can disconnect your store and stop using Markei at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Markei is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep trend data and generated content accurate, but we don’t guarantee specific business outcomes from posts published through the service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is material, we’ll let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use Markei after a change means you accept the update.
